I’ve been having a look at editing jobs in Taiwan, following up a few leads provided by my i-to-i tutor, James. He has been very helpful. It actually looks as though there’s quite a bit of copywriting jobs around, or I could work for an ESL publication with one of the big Taiwanese newspapers, or I could get an in-house editing position with a publishing company… so many options!
I wonder what my resume would look like to a Taiwanese publishing company, full as it is of arty stuff and so lacking in anything concretely business like.
Only eleven weeks to go. I am beginning to get that weird feeling of excitement merged with the possibility that I might crap myself.
