I’ve recently hooked up a writing and PR gig for a friend’s new musical duo, The Dub Racket, and have just put together some copy for their latest demo CD.
Got a wee bit trolleyed on Friday with Josh when we were supposed to be chatting about the job at hand and completely forgot he had given me a deadline for copy of Monday, 12 midnight.
I like midnight deadlines. So much better than 5pm ones.
So, it got to about 6pm on Monday night when I rung Josh to ask him what the deadline was. He said tonight and I went “Oh yeah, of course, ha, I’ll get it to you then.” Oops.
I got the copy to him at 11pm. Extremely well written, of course. A testament to my brilliant ability to stick to deadlines, no matter how tight.
Now it’s onto the press kit…
